LAURA LEE LANGSTON, 10/3/1959-914/2012

Laura Lee Langston, 52 of Stokes, died on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice. 
She was preceded in death by her father, George C. Langston; and her brother-in-law Ronald L. Capps. 
Survivors include her mother, Noelyne Langston of Lillington; two sisters, Georgina and husband, David Quinn, of Greenville and Noelyne Mary Langston of Fayetteville; two nephews, Aaron and Ian Quinn of Greenville; and niece Lauren Quinn of Greenville; uncles Alex O'Hara-Close and wife, Monette, of Queensland, Australia and John O'Hara-Close and wife Yvonne of New South Wales, Australia, their children and grandchildren, as well as numerous friends and cousins.
Laura was born in Tucson, Ariz., and reared in the Anderson Creek community of Lillington. She attended public school in Anderson Creek, graduated with an Associate Degree from Pitt Community College and attended East Carolina University.
A memorial service was held at the Greenville Town Commons on First Street, Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, or to the Southeastern Cancer Care organization, www.southeasterncancercare.org.
