James Ezra Bradford, 95, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, in the NC State Veterans Nursing Home in Fayetteville, NC. Mr. Bradford was born on January 12, 1921 in Wayne County, NC and lived all of his life in the Anderson Creek Community. He was a World War II veteran.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Bradford.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Advent Christian Church with Pastors Gary Buffkin and Mike Whitley officiating. A private family interment was  held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, NC.

Surviving are sons, Ray Bradford; Jimmy Bradford and Larry Bradford and wife, Linda; daughter, Pat Bradford; nine grandchildren: Donna, Carrie, Rebecca, David, Dara, Christopher, Scott, Chessie and Kalyn; five great-grandchildren and special niece, Brenda Bradford Flowers.

A visitation for family and friends was held Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home & Crematory in Spring Lake, NC.
