Mrs. Joyce Marie Parker Lucas, 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawna Lathan officiating.  Interment followed in LaFayette Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends was held prior to the funeral from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at Adcock Funeral Home.

Surviving is her husband, Jim Lucas; sons, Jerry L. Cain, Joel L. Cain and James G. Lucas, Jr.; sisters, Bet Hobson and Brenda Parker and husband, Roger; and sister/cousin, Linda Wheeler Gurnik and husband, Ron; and two grandchildren, Parker Cain and Angelina Lucas.
